VivoVenetia’s mission is to transform the way people experience the Veneto region, and to promote the development of creative tourism.
For the first time, locals are given the opportunity to choose and cater to a new type of clients, without being subjected to mass tourism. The new stakeholders benefiting from this turning point are small enterprises, artisans and local artists who can expand their business by creating a network together in order to engage both international tourists and citizens.
VivoVenetia intends to empower a new type of travelers: dynamic people who are eager to play an active role while discovering new places. Tourists can become “temporary residents” and curious local people can start to experience their own regionand some adventure at home.
Backed by such network, VivoVenetia can change the stereotyped image of Venice and open the Veneto region to the world, by building new connections between the city and the region, according to the “sharing economy”model that is becoming more and more popular nowadays.

WHAT WE DO
VivoVenetia creates new business opportunities by helping the local tourismindustry access the international market, both in Venice and in the Veneto region. We welcome enterprises that have never taken advantage of this industry's potential, that is to say companies wishing to develop industrial tourism or artisans who are eager to offer classes and creative workshops. VivoVenetiaendorses the concept of “short supply chain” by establishing direct contacts between the existing “alternative economy” sectors. Both tourists from all over the world and locals can finally get to know some of the best service suppliers in the region.
Through an online multilingual Portal, VivoVenetia offers the possibility to purchase a wide variety of experiences and leisure activities directly from the suppliers, who each have a dedicated page on the Web site. The project’s effectiveness is further enhanced thanks to a concrete network of VivoVenetia promoters, able to engage the community at a local, national and global level. We also further support our network of suppliers by giving them greater exposure when we participate in trade shows and in the most prestigious events of the tourism industry.
At VivoVenetia, each partner is valuable. Above all, they contribute to their own success as well as to the success of the entire system in order to promote and develop the area in which they operate.
