A 36-km stretch packed with history, art and culture. The Riviera del Brenta is an area rich in historic and scenic value for the pretty Venetian Villas built there and the historical centers that you may encounter along its entire length.
Visiting the Riviera del Brenta allows you not only to catch sight of the beautiful Venetian villas — where Venetian noble families used to go to relax, rest or even do business —, but also to travel on a historic road that goes from Padua to Venice, along which the nature is breathtaking, and the gardens of ancient mansions are grandiose. Great architects, such as Palladio and Scamozzi, designed some of the villas.
Renting a bicycle to discover the area is just the perfect way to really enjoy its natural and architectural beauties, located along the Brenta River.
