Forget St. Mark’s square…
…well, not for real, plus it’s not that easy! But, if you have been to Venice before or you have been staying in town for a few days, you might get tired of the usual, touristic routes. Rialto bridge, Salute Church, Doge Palace, although impressive, gather also impressive crowds! And you might wonder: “Is this all there is to see?” Well, not at all!
A different Venice: off the beaten track
Most tours cover a minimum part of Venice and don’t give you an idea of the real city. As citizens of Venice we know that very well! We would like to accompany you towards the most authentic parts of this city and, this is important, taking the time to do so.
Venice is the right place where to slow down..
Hidden surprises and fascinating paths are awaiting the wanderers. And Venice, this incredible, multifaceted city, is the right place for each one to find its pace and decide its direction. We offer you to wander in the popular neighborhood of Castello (Castèo in venetian) and have a tour through unknows calli and campielli, hidden gardens, mysterious signs ( ask to the tour guide what a Nizioleto is) and many historical curiosities. As well, you will learn about the fragile balance that governs Venice and how life in its many forms has adapted to the peculiar environment of the lagoon. The path of the guide will be open to suggestions, requests, and the peculiar interests you might have.
