This famous architect in this area has left various examples of his masterly skill all over this part of the Veneto. The interior frescoes were created by important artists: gualtiero padovano, gianbattista zelotti, baptist of the mooro. Nine frescoed halls, all open to the public, through the large entrance gallery all frescoed by the Paduan.

Nowadays, besides being a very well preserved example of a Venetian villa, it is a noble country house. This palace houses the palaeontological museum of animal and vegetable fossils of from the area.
