Ball at Palazzo Donà Dalle Rose Venice
Located in the sestiere of Cannaregio, Palazzo Donà Dalle Rose is a splendid and ancient Venetian palace that offers an exciting view; from the main facade it looks over Fondamenta Nove and from the other it pushes its gaze toward the island of Murano and more generally toward the Northern Lagoon.
The wide hallway on the ground floor, which will greet you on your arrival, is bordered by stairs that on one side lead to the mezzanine and on the other ascend to the spacious portego of the Piano Nobile whose beautifully decorated rooms have been the setting for the festivities held at the palace for centuries.
The palace was built by Doge Leonardo Donà in the early 17th century and still belongs to the same family; it is home to the Donà Dalle Rose Foundation and hosts contemporary art exhibitions.
