A historic Venetian palace opens its doors, today as it did in the past, to host the magic of a fun and seductive masquerade party.

Sunday 19 February 2023: this is the date you must mark in your diary if you really want to experience the splendour of the Venice Carnival. It is the evening of the Mascheranda Grand Ball “Emozioni in maschera”.
A Venice carnival ball in costume that revives the intriguing atmospheres of Venetian festivities of centuries past and passes on the spirit.
Mascheranda takes place in the enchantment of a historic Venetian palace, set up with themed sets and decorations. The host is Casanova.
Choose your costume and participate in an exclusive, romantic, exciting and seductive night. Put on your mask and, shrouded in mystery, enter the whirlwind of masked balls and indulge in the excitement of a real Venetian Carnival party.
Mascheranda Grand Ball is one of the most eagerly awaited events of the entire Venice Carnival.
The number of participants is limited. Don’t let the palace doors close in front of you.

The programme of Mascheranda Grand Ball of Venice
You will be welcomed into our historic host building from 8.30 p.m. onwards. The party will begin with a welcome cocktail and the first show of the evening.
Afterwards, you will take your place at your table in one of the magnificent halls of the Piano Nobile, decorated with beautiful frescoes. The placé dinner you will enjoy is a gala candlelight dinner, filled with elaborate courses and an important wine selection.
And since this is a grand ball, the gala dinner will be enlivened by live music, classical and modern, and by the artistic performances of dancers and actors, and of course by Casanova, our host.
You will dine immersed in an enthralling spectacle of exotic dancers, mythological figures and art comedians.
The evening will be a continuous succession of events and artistic performances, dances and competitions with the School of Ancient Dances; the Astrology Corner will answer your questions and there will be the Election of Casanova 2023.
Emotions, magic, sensuality and intrigue will be in the air for the duration of this unmissable event.
Mascheranda continues afterwards with the after-dinner party: from 11.30 pm to 2.30 am on the ground floor – where the disco and the open bar will be set – the DJ will be waiting to liven up the evening with music and modern dances.
The costume for Mascheranda Grand Ball
One of the elements that contribute to the magic of this wonderful and exclusive Carnival party are the costumes!
Dress code: A full historical costume is compulsory in order to participate, and you cannot enter the grand ball in contemporary attire (albeit ceremonial such as an evening gown or dinner jacket).
If you wish, when booking, you can choose to hire your historical costume and carnival mask directly with our atelier.
You will receive a form to fill out in order to determine the measurements of your costume and you will be able to choose from the numerous models in the atelier; you will shine in your period costume and be a seductive protagonist of the evening’s magic.
How to participate in the Mascheranda Ball
When you book your place among the lucky ones who will attend the grand ball, you can choose between two options regarding the location of your table: in the main salon or in a side salon.
Alternatively, you can opt only for the after-dinner party.
