Sales Conditions

If you cancel your registration at least 30 days before the start of the course, 20% of the amount paid will be deducted; the remaining 80% will be refunded. If the cancellation is made after this deadline, you will lose 40% of the amount paid. In case of a no show, no refund will be made. If the student attends part of the course, no refund will be made. The school reserves the right to vary lesson times at its sole discretion for group courses.

    You can not really appreciate Italy without an eye for the world of art. That’s why we offer you an art history course! Immerse yourself in Italian heritage by walking through Venice, admiring the art and the architecture in the actual environment.
    During the lessons you will get to study numerous fine paintings, sculptures and architecture that are an essential part of the beautiful lagoon city.
    The city is in fact littered with works by great painters of the past such as: Carpaccio, Bellini, Tiziano, Tintoretto, Veronese and Tiepolo. Don’t forget the stunning architecture, from Palladio, which makes Venice and Veneto, an open-air treasure with its neoclassical perfection. Lastly, there were great contemporary architects such as Scarpa, who were able to combine the classic Venetian style with a more contemporary style. You can see this more modern stye at the Iuav university or the Olivetti Store in Piazza San Marco.

    During the year, we’ve got collective groups thare planned. The course is in Italian and consists of three hours of outdoor lessons per day in the morning from Monday to Friday, from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Times may vary according to the opening hours of museums, churches and palaces. All entrance fees are included. Contact us in order to know about the next courses in program!

    Venice and the history of art: an inseparable union!

    Just walking through the streets accompanied by your personal guide, you wil be able to see many incredible art works, which will be pointed out by your experienced teacher. During these open air art lessons, you will come to know and appreciate masterpieces of painting, sculpture and architecture created by the greatest Venetian artists of all time.
    This is a truly unique experience because Venice is the only Italian city which has kept its works of art in situ, in exactly the same place that they were originally created by the great masters!
    Topics can range from medieval art history to issues of contemporary art history. It is possible to plan a series of lessons focusing on subjects of your choice.
    Lessons are held in Italian and so a minimum level of knowledge of the language is required. Lessons are available in English, at an extra charge.
