Treviso Airport: the second Venice airport

Treviso airport is the second airport of Venice, after Marco Polo Airport. Low-cost airlines from all over Italy and Europe will land in Treviso with Venice as their destination, carrying millions of passengers a year.

You may find it referred to as Treviso Sant'Angelo Airport, named after the district of Treviso it overlooks, or Antonio Canova Airport in Treviso, named after the famous sculptor to whom it is dedicated.

Treviso Airport has two floors, where you can find restaurants and shops. The arrivals hall is on the ground floor, while the departures area is on the first floor.

Due to its proximity to Treviso railway station (reachable by line 6 of the ACTT urban transport service), Venice Treviso Antonio Canova Airport is an excellent arrival point for traveling throughout the Veneto region (and also Italy). Direct bus transfers are organized by ATVO to the beaches of the Veneto coast, such as Jesolo, Caorle, and Bibione, or by GoOpti to more distant destinations.

However, the most popular transfer services are those connecting Treviso Antonio Canova Airport with Venice's historic center.

How to get to Venice from Treviso Airport

The first thing you need to know when organizing your road transfer from Treviso Airport to Venice is that the arrival point in the historic center is Piazzale Roma. This is where all the vaporetto lines arrive and depart for the historic center or the major islands, and from here you can also take a water taxi to reach any destination or accommodation in the historic center.
