How to choose the Festa del Redentore experience that suits you best

Boats are positioned on the same day by the Harbour Master’s Office, which assigns moorings based on the size and type of each vessel. The designated areas extend across the Giudecca Canal, the St. Mark’s Basin, and as far as the Biennale Gardens.

It is not possible to reserve or know the exact mooring position in advance. Assignments may vary each year and do not depend on the boat owner or the experience provider.

No, there is no absolute guarantee. The view depends on the assigned positioning, the tide, the wind, and the natural movement of the boats. It may happen that a boat shifts orientation or that other vessels partially obstruct the view.

We take responsibility for carefully selecting the partners and experiences we consider most reliable. However, the unpredictability of the lagoon is part of the event and cannot be controlled by anyone.

In most cases, even if the fireworks are cancelled by the Municipality, our events still take place.

As a result, many experiences are non-refundable in the event of fireworks cancellation decided by the Municipality.

The evening will still go ahead—without the fireworks show, but with the full boat experience. We always recommend carefully reading the specific cancellation policy of each experience before booking.

In addition, the Redentore is the most in-demand event of the year in Venice, and no organizers offer reduced rates for children.
