Val Noana Canyon: fun awaits you

The Val Noana canyon is a canyon considered easy and within everyone’s reach by those in the know, i.e. the mountain guides who accompany you safely down the canyon. This is not to say, however, that it is considered monotonous or boring; on the contrary, it is one of the best canyons to start with, and in any case to do at least once, because it is really fun; a real natural aquapark!

The Rio Neva has carved a truly unique path through the limestone mountains of the Vette Feltrine. Its crystal-clear waters have created a series of elements to tackle, including fun natural slides, which do not require any particular technical skill and can be overcome in safety and fun with the help of guides.

The water never gets too high and even the deepest pools are never too long. You can try your hand at fun and easy slides carved into the rock that alternate with dives that are never compulsory and you can also experience the thrill of a few rope descents.

Val Noana: canyoning and more!

Val Noana is a beautiful valley, perfect for spending beautiful days in an unspoilt natural environment with your family or group of friends; sport and relaxation together to regenerate both body and mind.

Since 1958, the valley has been home to the Lake of Val Noana, an artificial lake resulting from the construction of a dam over a deep, narrow gorge. In addition to the lake, the valley is home to flat meadows and several pastures.

If you have not yet been to these parts, we recommend that you do so and combine the morning canyoning excursion with some nice, relaxing walks in the afternoon. You can choose to take a few photos of the route you descended in the morning from the higher of the two panoramic footbridges that cross the Rio Neva gorge (and which you saw from below).

Then you can descend on the lower footbridge for a scenic view of the lake before making the spectacular crossing of the nearby Tibetan bridge (it is about 70 metres long with an overhang of about 30 metres)..

And don’t forget that you are in an area famous for the size of its trees: the lush Giant Spruce Trail (“Sentiero degli abeti giganti) is waiting for you to look up as it seems to touch the sky and perhaps challenge you to see how many people it takes to be able to hug one of its stupendous specimens with a trunk that can be up to 1 metre in diameter.

In short, a true paradise where you can choose, from among many scenic routes, even ring routes, the one that suits you best.
